Halloween Costumes

So Halloween is just around the corners. I've got a few parties to go to, but probably won't go to only but one. I'm not really in the Halloween spirit this year. I think I've been so busy with work that I've forgotten about everything else. That's such a bad thing, but it happens every now and then. But I've got some great ideas that I would like to dress up as for Halloween one of these years before I get too old to dress-up...hahaha

X-Men - Wolverine:
I could grow out my sideburns and go crazy with the hairspray to get my hair spiked back like Wolverine. Of course I would like to have a replica of the outfit he wears in the movies. The ones you buy at the stores that comes in those packages suck. They're so cheap looking. I would like to have a whole leather outfit and then sew on some orange stitching to make that big X that goes across the chest. I'd probably get the gloves for his claws. Making anything real would be too dangerous...hehehe.

Tootsie Pop:
Hahaha...I've been wanting to do this one for quite some time. I'll wear a black trash bag and pack it to make it round as possible to simulate a lolipop. I'll make a label to read "Tootsie Pop" and place that across the chest. My get-up line for this would be for me to go up to a girl and say to her, "Can you tell me how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop?!"

Tickle-Me Elmo:
I don't even need to explain this one do I? Ok...I will anyways. I come with an Elmo suit on and my get-up line would be, "You've got to tickle me in the right spot to get me to laugh"...hahaha.

Burger King King:
This would freak many ppl out, but I love this idea. Now that they sell the Burger King King mask, I want to buy one. I'll wear that with like king's robe and buy a gold platter and a whopper. I'll walk around holding that whopper on the platter and just look at the person...without saying a word. I know that'll scare the crap out of some girls.

Well, that's all the ideas I have so far. I hope nobody will take my Tootsie Pop idea. I think that's my favorite one.

Girl In My Dreams

Last night I had a dream and there was this girl in it who I have never seen before in my life. In my dreams, she happened to be my girlfriend. I'm for sure she wasn't white, black, nor asian. Perhaps latin of some sort. She was tanned skinned and had a bit of a wild curly hair-do.
Usually when I have dreams, it contains people I already know or at least a face I recognize, but I have no recolletion of this girl. The dream was so vivid that I still remember her face in my head. It's just wierd to me cuz I have no idea where she came from and who she is. Could it be possible that I just made her up? Or could she be a real person that I just haven't met? It's really interesting. I've never dreamed up a person before.
Well, the only reason this stands out so much besides not knowing who the girl is, but because she was my girlfriend and we shared this great intimate kiss that I can still play out in my head.
I dreamt that I was sitting in a chair teaching something to a friend of mine, and this girl (my girlfriend in the dream) comes up behind me to tell me that she's leaving to go shopping so I tilted my head back, as she stands leaned over, and gave her a kiss. It was very long and sensual kiss. It something like I've never had before.

Man!...I must have a heck of an imagination. I need to go find someone who can read into dreams cuz if there's a girl like this out there in real life...I would like to meet her!

Paris or Bust

Who would have thought in a million years that I'd be getting to go to Paris? Not Paris, TX, but Paris, France! Certainly not me and certainly not anytime soon. But boy!...has luck been on my side.
I'm going to Paris!!! I'll be going this January to oversee the production of my project. We're wrapping up on things and as soon as it's release, our manufacturing in France will start building so they want me to fly up there to oversee the initial production of the system. Nothing for me to complain there...hehehe. I'll be happy to go :)
I'm so excited! Two guys from our location in France came to visit me this week and just from all the things they're telling me about Paris has got me really excited to go. When I first heard that I might be going about a month ago...I was like...'ok...cool', but didn't think too much of it. Now I can't wait. I'm still working on getting a passport. Hopefully I'll get it soon.
I've got lots of family up there in Paris and I'm sure they'll be excited to see me. I've got some buddies up there too, so I'll have to visit them too. So I won't be alone too much. It still would be nice to have someone else to come along with me. Like a girlfriend or someone like that. Being that it's Paris! But unfortunately I'm single so nothing like that's going to happen :(
Well, nevertheless, I'm going to enjoy every moment in Paris. I want to visit the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, and whatever else there is. I'll discover it all. Well...as much as I can in a weeks time.

Missing Mary

Today was Mary's last day with her current position. She's moving on to become a recruiter. She'll still be with the company, but she'll be in a building way across campus. I'm already missing her. Just knowing that I won't see her Monday makes me a lil sad. She's such a bright spot to my days at work. The guys always complain about not having any good looking chicks at work, but nothing beats a girl with a great personality.
To be honest, I don't even know why I feel the way I feel whenever I think about Mary...sigh...there's something about Mary...hahaha.
No...she's an awesome person. She's funny, always laughing at my jokes (she actually thinks I'm funny...that's funny), real down to earth, outgoing, and real easy to get along with. That's probably why so many ppl are so fond of her. She's such a teamster too. That's what I like most about her. She always pulls through for you. Although she's very forgetful at times. But whenever something needs to be done...she gets it done.
She was our groups buyer/planner. She was only doing this to help the group since we didn't officially have one. Now that she's gone...we're back to not having a buyer/planner. We'll she did have a replacement. The new lady seems pretty cool. She looks very much as if she could be a wild party girl...or at least used to be. She's probably a lil older now so I'm sure she's not partying as hard as should probably was.
Dude...I think the both of them made a sexual joke to me yesterday. I just finished volunteering for the American Heartwalk popcorn sale and since there was extra popcorn left, I brought them back to share with everyone...and so I stopped by Mary's office to give a bag to her and one to D'Anne (Mary's replacement...they were sharing office). I said...."help me out and take a bag of popcorn"...so they did...and when I was walking back into my office...they both said to me, at the same time, in a very devilish tone..."so is there anything else we can help you with..." and giggled. I had to laugh...and then I replied..."well, I'll let you know later". That was too funny.
Carlos and I got together and got a gift basket for Mary. Carlos provided the wine and I did everything else. I got the basket, and confetti for the basket, box of cracker, pate, cheese, chocolate, candles, and a wine glass (for decorations). Of course I had help with the basket, but the finish was amazing. Everything was so color-coordinated. It just happened that way. I put a nice big bow after wrapping the basket. It was very pretty. I just hope she likes it and remembers us...hehehe.
I miss Mary...:(

Annoying Lunch Buddy

Several weeks ago, we got a new lunch buddy. She's been doing lunch with us almost everyday since we've met. She was alright in the beginning, but now her true colors are shining through and we're all getting annoyed with this girl.
She's doesn't ever stop talking. I'm not sure if any of are even listening. It doesn't matter...she just keeps talking. She's like the energizer bunny...it keeps going and going and going...
Man...some of the stuff she says is stupid too. In my opinion...she's a very ignorant and naive girl. I don't think she's really experienced life much. Every Friday when we all get together to go off campus for lunch...seems like every restaurant is new to her. And she gets all excited about it. That's just too weird. Even ppl who love to eat don't get that excited about going out to eat.
She has this habit of cutting ppl off as they're talking. I think that's what annoys me most about the girl. She is so rude. Especially when she's all bitching about how guys need to open doors for girl. What's her belief on cutting ppl off as they're talking? Then the things she says pisses me off too. She'll always giving her opinions...and that's fine and dandy...but she shoves her opinion down your throat. She thinks whatever she thinks is right and everything else is wrong and that you have to be on her side. She says it over and over and over until someone agrees. Dang...just typing all of this down makes me hate this girl all over again. I'm not the type of person to bring things home from work...but this girl really is bugging me.
O...and this Friday when we were leaving the restaurant...I was talking to my friend (white boy...who loves Dim Sum) and telling him that he should come out with me next weekend for some Dim Sum with some other friends and then this girl, who was like 10 steps behind us, out of nowhere was like..."uh!...what about me?! I want to go too...you better call me." I can't even believe she heard me talking to my buddy. Hell no am I calling this girl out for Dim Sum. It's my weekend. I want my peace. Weekdays are more than enough with her. Don't need to hear her sh-t on the weekends too.
But to my friend she's a comic relief. He's just amazed how naive this girl is and how much she can talk and how much she makes no sense.

Too Long of a Week

It's Saturday night and I'm tired as hell. Just got home from a friend's b-day party at Sherlocks. I was actually having a very good time, but I was so fighting this cold that I've been having for the last 3 days, so I decided to leave early. I definitely would have stayed cuz I met this girl name Gloria, but ppl call her Natalie cuz she kind of looks like Natalie Portman. She really does...except cuter. I didn't really take too many shots at her, but hopefully the next time we hang out...I'll get a lil further with her.
Anyhow...so my reason for leaving so early is cuz I'm so sick and being out tonight is not helping my cause. This morning's Komen race didn't help either. I think being under the sun for so long really made me even more sick.
Last night was a very long night too. Didn't get home til after midnight and then I had to be up at 5:30 to go for the Komen Race. See how one thing leads to another? Yeah...my weeks been really long.
I was also up late all week long working on my project for work since we have a deadline this coming week. I just can't wait for next week to come. Thing should slow down for me dramatically and I can finally relax and not be so stressed out about work.

Komen Race 06

Today was my 3rd Komen Race participation. I started this tradition back in 2003 and plan to keep this going for a long time. The last two years I ran the non-competitive race, but this year I opted for the walk instead. Long story...I'll get to that in another blog.
A lot of ppl turned out for this years run. It seems like it gets larger every year. Today was so crowded. I don't remember last year being so big.
The weather started off muggy and got hotter as the morning came along. Henry and his wife was there along with their 1 year old baby boy. What a cute lil guy. He was so friendly. He wasn't like the kind of kid that cries at everything. He was very playful. Mary and her daughter also showed up this year. I spent the entire race with them. It was their first time participating. It was fun hanging out with her and her daughter Cairyn. We walked the whole way except towards the end when Cairyn decided to start running so we ran all the way to the finish line.
I had fun this year. Mary was great company. I needed the company. I would have hated to walk by myself. Would have been so boring. Running was out of the question for me, so I'm glad that Mary was there to keep me company.
